In 1991, Jean Walker was hired by Crystal Restoration to serve as the company’s office manager. In that position, she coordinated the company’s response to emergency calls; working closely with insurance agents, adjusters and insureds. She also supervised the office administrative staff. In 1996, Jean was promoted to Account Representative responsible for sales and marketing throughout Faifield County. In 1999, when Richard Arena sold Crystal Restoration to his employees, she became one of three owners.
Jean’s current duties at Crystal Restoration include overseeing all financial and marketing activities of the company, as well as quality control of ongoing job assignments. Her business credential are Certified Mole Remediator (CMR) from the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), Certifications in Fire Damage Restoration Odor Removal, and Water Damage Restoration from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration Certification (IICRC).
Crystal Restoration is a sponsor of continuing education for insurance agents in the State of Connecticut, and Jean is a certified instructor for Property and Casualty courses.
