Mike is a certified public accountant and a director with Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP, a full service accounting firm. Mike has over 30 years of diversified accounting, auditing, taxation and business consulting experience.
He works primarily with closely held businesses and wealthy individuals. His engagement experience includes family partnerships, trusts, and businesses in the fields of wholesale, retail, real estate, law firms, service providers, import / export, transportation, equipment leasing, entertainment, health care, telecommunications, construction, and e-commerce.
His focus is to solve the problems that keep the clients awake at night and to assist them in improving their bottom line and building wealth using tax minimization strategies. He has consulted on internal controls, entity structuring, acquisitions, succession planning, financing, retirement planning, as well as other general business matters.
He is licensed in the states of Connecticut and New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served on various committees of the New York State Society of CPAs and various community organizations.
